We currently have two vacancies, please see below. If you would like further information or would like to arrange a visit please email head@manorfields.wilts.sch.uk
Full Time Teacher
Manor Fields is an over-subscribed school with a very positive reputation in the community. We are a single-intake mainstream primary school with a Complex Needs Resource Base. We are a “good” school and “a happy place where everyone is welcome” (Ofsted, February 2023)
Our school has just recruited a new headteacher and we are keen to appoint the perfect team to support them as the school enters a new chapter. We want to appoint a well-qualified, skillful and enthusiastic teacher who will play a crucial role in improving outcomes for all children.
Manor Fields is a school where staff are supported to fulfil their potential. This position provides the perfect opportunity for an aspiring practitioner to continue their professional development: the role will be shaped by the skills of the successful candidate. We are committed to providing an opportunity for someone looking to develop as a school leader and we will support NPQ’ ambitions.
All about the role:
Our expectations are high as children are relying on us to help them to build their futures. Therefore, applicants must have experience of leadership and recent experience of teaching primary- aged children. Our ideal candidate will be:
• An outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate a commitment to the professional development of colleagues and themselves
• Keen to lead Maths
• Committed to inclusion, ideally with SEND qualification or experience
• Enthusiastic and optimistic
• Ambitious
• Able to inspire, innovate and nurture children and staff
• Determined to contribute to the wider life of the school
• Adept at fostering, and sustaining, effective relationships with all members of our community, within and beyond the gate.
